Ragdoll Origin: Developed in the 1960s by breeder Ann Baker in California, Ragdolls were selectively bred for their relaxed temperament and blue eyes.
Size: Large; males 15β20 lbs, females 10β15 lbs. They grow slowly and reach full size by 4 years.
Lifespan: 12β17 years.
Temperament: Docile, affectionate, and people-oriented. They often go limp when picked upβhence the name βRagdoll.β
